Football Game Preview: Beulah Bobcats vs. Childersburg Tigers + How To Watch

The Beulah Bobcats will challenge the Childersburg Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Beulah will be strutting in after a victory while Childersburg will be coming in after a defeat.

Beulah took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Comer by a score of 39-30. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Beulah's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Khamoni Lindsey led the charge by rushing for 105 yards and one score on only 13 carries, while also throwing for 26 yards and one TD. Lindsey has become a key player for the Bobcats: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 0-4 otherwise. Hunter Duval was another key player, rushing for 109 yards on only 14 carries.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Beulah, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Tristen Robinson, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Beulah's defense and their three sacks. In that department, Montana Williford was the leader with two.

Meanwhile, Childersburg was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 40-15 to Vincent. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-0.

Childersburg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Beulah, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-5.

Everything came up roses for Beulah against Childersburg in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 48-8 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
