Lebanon Trail has gone a perfect 5-0 against Emerson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lebanon Trail Trail Blazers will head out on the road to square off against the Emerson Mavericks at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Lebanon Trail was able to grind out a solid victory over Frisco, taking the game 3-1.

Meanwhile, Emerson waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Knights get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Given the Mavericks' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 218th in Texas, while the Knights are ranked 549th in Texas), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Emerson's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Lebanon Trail, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Lebanon Trail skirted past Emerson 3-2 when the teams last played back in January. Will Lebanon Trail repeat their success, or does Emerson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
