Croatan is a perfect 7-0 against White Oak since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cougars will venture away from home to square off against the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Croatan is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Croatan fell victim to Havelock and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Rams, falling 6-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cougars have suffered against the Rams since March 14, 2019.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for White Oak, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against Northside - Jacksonville on Monday as they made off with an 11-1 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Vikings considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Skyler Olivieri was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Brandon Brandt also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

White Oak always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Croatan's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for White Oak, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8.

Croatan took their win against White Oak in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 11-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
