Football Game Preview: Brackett Tigers vs. D'Hanis Cowboys

Brackett is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Saturday. They will square off against the D'Hanis Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. Neither Brackett nor D'Hanis posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Last Friday, Brackett and Falls City were almost perfectly matched up, but Brackett suffered a 7-6 defeat.

Meanwhile, D'Hanis managed to keep up with New Braunfels Christian Academy until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Cowboys came up short against the Wildcats, falling 29-7.

Brackett dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for D'Hanis, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything came up roses for Brackett against D'Hanis in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as the squad secured a 53-7 victory. In that matchup, the Tigers amassed a halftime lead of 40-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
