Softball Preview: Columbian Tornadoes vs. Willard Crimson Flashes
The Columbian Tornadoes will head out to take on the Willard Crimson Flashes at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Willard took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Columbian, who comes in off a win.
Columbian will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Thursday, then bounced right back against Colonel Crawford on Monday. The Tornadoes put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 10-4 win.
Olyvia Steinmetz was excellent, going 1-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Maizie Mellott was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
