Dillon had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.7 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 59-33 margin over the Marlboro County Bulldogs. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 20 points or more this season.

Dillon found their leader in freshman Treasure Davis, who went 9 of 18 on her way to 20 points along with seven steals and six boards. Davis has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Khwnylahi Mckinnon was another key player, putting up six points in addition to nine steals and seven assists.

Dillon smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive contests.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Destiny Ford, who posted six points. Another player making a difference was Teyona Jenkins, who put up a point along with nine rebounds and four steals.

Dillon pushed their record up to 16-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points over those games. As for Marlboro County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.

Dillon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 41-30 win against Waccamaw on the 7th. As for Marlboro County, they have also already played their next matchup, a 63-11 defeat against Loris on the 7th.
