The Macon County Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Wilkinson County Warriors, and things went their way on Friday too. Macon County blew past Wilkinson County 52-28. The win made it back-to-back wins for Macon County.
Macon County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Morgan Cochran led the charge by dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Aliyah Lake, who scored 15 points along with 4 steals.
Macon County now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Wilkinson County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Macon County will take on Chattahoochee County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilkinson County won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Wilcox County at 7:00 p.m. on December 2nd.
