Volleyball Recap: Dunnellon Comes Up Short

Dunnellon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Crystal River Pirates. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Pirates from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17, 25-6.

Dunnellon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Crystal River, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-14.

Dunnellon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against South Sumter on the 7th. As for Crystal River, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Citrus on the 7th.
