Basketball Recap: Conway Christian Comes Up Short

Conway Christian lost against Aynor back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles were dealt a 64-37 defeat at the hands of the Blue Jackets. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aynor had a senior duo take command as Lucas Kamp shot 60% from beyond the arc on his way to 21 points and Robinson Mendez went 5-for-8 to rack up 12 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Alex Lewis, who posted four points.

Conway Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Aynor, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Conway Christian will host Dillon Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Aynor, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Myrtle Beach at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
