Baseball Recap: Metro Tech Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Metro Tech's offense. They came up short against the Alhambra Lions on Wednesday, falling 20-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 last Tuesday.

Metro Tech has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Alhambra, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Metro Tech didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-3 loss against North on the 4th. As for Alhambra, they have also already played their next game, a 6-0 win against ALA - West Foothills on the 3rd.
