Baseball Recap: Carroll Academy Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Carroll Academy can now relate to. They came up short against the North Delta Green Wave on Tuesday, falling 8-1. The Rebels' loss continues a trend for the team, making it eight in a row.

Cole Beckwith was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over 4.1 innings pitched.

Carroll Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for North Delta, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Carroll Academy nor North Delta have any future games scheduled.
