Baseball Game Preview: Uniontown Red Raiders vs. Frazier Commodores

The Uniontown Red Raiders will challenge the Frazier Commodores at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Uniontown is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Uniontown and Albert Gallatin meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Wednesday. The Red Raiders fell just short of the Colonials by a score of 4-3.

Uniontown saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jameson Carter, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Gary Smitley also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Frazier entered their game against Carmichaels last Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Commodores fell 13-8 to the Mighty Mikes. The Commodores have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tyler Morrison made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI.

Frazier's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Uniontown, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
