Volleyball Game Preview: Fishers Tigers vs. Hamilton Southeastern Royals

The Fishers Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Hamilton Southeastern Royals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fishers is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 14 games.

On Wednesday, Fishers was able to grind out a solid victory over Brownsburg, taking the game 3-1.

In the three sets Fishers was on fire: they won each by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 23-25, 25-7, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Hamilton Southeastern faced New Palestine in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Royals came out on top against the Dragons by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Royals.

Hamilton Southeastern walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 26-24, 23-25, 25-21, 25-9.

Hamilton Southeastern's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Fishers, they pushed their record up to 16-1 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Fishers beat Hamilton Southeastern 2-0 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
