Basketball Recap: Kapa'a Comes Up Short

Kapa'a lost against Kauai Christian Academy back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors fell 36-26 to the Fishers. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Kauai Christian Academy to victory were Jed Van Zee and Micah Kelly. Van Zee dropped a double-double with 13 points and 18 rebounds, while Kelly went 5-for-10 to rack up 10 points and four steals.

Kapa'a now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Kauai Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coincidentally, Kapa'a and Kauai Christian Academy will both be playing Island the next time they take the court. The Fishers will host Island at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Warriors will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
