Basketball Game Preview: Rockwall Yellowjackets vs. Tyler Legacy Raiders

Rockwall is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Tyler Legacy is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Rockwall Yellowjackets will welcome the Tyler Legacy Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

If Tyler Legacy heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Rockwall took over last week. Rockwall strolled past Forney with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 35-20. Given the Yellowjackets' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while the Jackrabbits are ranked 448th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Tyler Legacy didn't have too much trouble with Longview on Friday as they won 51-37.

Tyler Legacy's victory bumped their record up to 27-4. As for Rockwall, they have also been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season.

Rockwall came out on top in a nail-biter against Tyler Legacy in their previous matchup on January 3rd, sneaking past 41-38. Will Rockwall repeat their success, or does Tyler Legacy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
