Baseball Recap: Concord Takes a Loss

Concord lost against Stockbridge back in May of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 7-5. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Charlie Cole was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Those hits marked the first that he has got this season.

Concord now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Stockbridge, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.

Coming up, Concord will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Lakewood at 4:00 p.m. As for Stockbridge, they will head out on the road to challenge Reading at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
