Volleyball Recap: Centennial Find Success

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Centennial had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Rogers Royals. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Among those leading the charge was Chase Manthey, who had 37 assists and seven digs. She has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more assists the last 16 times she's played.

Emily Hoyt and Caitlin Schmidt certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Hoyt had seven digs and two aces, while Schmidt had nine digs and one assist.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 24-9. As for Rogers, their loss dropped their record down to 26-9.

As of now, neither Centennial nor the Royals have any future games scheduled.
