New Richmond win going away against Marshfield

Recap: New Richmond Tigers vs. Marshfield Tigers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hudson, The New Richmond Tigers were happy to have found some success on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 39-22 win over Marshfield. Given New Richmond's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 21st, while Marshfield is ranked 113th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Miles Burke had a dynamite game for New Richmond, rushing for 266 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per carry. Burke's longest rush was for an incredible 78 yards. Kyle Germain got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
New Richmond's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Marshfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
New Richmond will take on Menomonie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Menomonie is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. Marshfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
