Softball Recap: Northgate Takes a Loss

Northgate fell victim to College Park and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Falcons, falling 6-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Broncos' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Northgate now has a losing record of 9-10. As for College Park, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Northgate will square off against Acalanes at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Broncos are facing the Dons at the right time seeing as the Dons are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for College Park, they will face off against Clayton Valley Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
