Softball Recap: Noxapater Comes Up Short

Noxapater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-3 to the Starkville Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, with their most recent defeat being a 16-3 loss on Thursday.

Noxapater's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Starkville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers take on the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. French Camp Academy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.33 runs per game on average), something Noxapater will no doubt try to take advantage of. Starkville has already played their next matchup (against Houston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
