Softball Recap: Dock Mennonite Pioneers vs. MAST Community Charter Panthers

Dock Mennonite was the 7-0 winner over MAST Community Charter when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Dock Mennonite Pioneers took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the MAST Community Charter Panthers on Tuesday. Dock Mennonite has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For MAST Community Charter's part, Rylie Fitzsimmons made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only one hit while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Fitzsimmons has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive pitching appearances.
