Blythewood is a perfect 9-0 against Ridge View since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Blythewood will host Ridge View at 5:30 p.m. Blythewood will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Blythewood's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over Sumter. Given Blythewood's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked third, while Sumter are ranked 144th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Blythewood's offense was hitting Sumter from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Caroline Powell led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Ridge View hadn't done well against Sumter recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Ridge View walked away with a 2-0 victory over Sumter.

Blythewood pushed their record up to 9-1-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. As for Ridge View, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Blythewood took their victory against Ridge View in their previous matchup back in April of 2022 by a conclusive 3-0. Will Blythewood repeat their success, or does Ridge View has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
