Softball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln and Northside squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Lincoln had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Rams by a score of 5-4. That's two games in a row now that the Golden Bears have lost by just one run.

Lincoln has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 28-24-1 record this season. As for Northside, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 35-13-1.

Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northside, they have already played their next match, a 7-0 loss against Moody on the 5th.
