Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mifflin County). They put the hurt on the Curwensville Golden Tide with a sharp 13-0 victory on Friday. Considering the Huskies' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Mifflin County's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Curwensville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mifflin County will take on Chambersburg at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Curwensville, they will square off against Moshannon Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
