Softball Recap: Valley Extends Winning Streak to Five

Valley waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They never let the South Gallia Rebels get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. Considering the Indians have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Valley's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for South Gallia, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-20.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley will venture away from home to take on Eastern at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Gallia, they will face off against Federal Hocking at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lancers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.4 runs per game on average), something the Rebels will no doubt try to take advantage of.
