The Meigs County Tigers will take on the Sequatchie County Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Meigs County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 45-8 victory over Johnson County. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Sequatchie County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They breezed past Brainerd to the tune of 41-7 on Thursday. With the Indians ahead 27-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Meigs County better keep an eye on Hunter Minton. He was instrumental in Sequatchie County's win, rushing for 136 yards and one score on only nine carries, while also throwing for 126 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. Those 136 rushing yards gave Minton a new career-high.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Sequatchie County's defense and their three sacks. Harrison Smith was especially locked on to Brainerd's QB and sacked him twice. Smith is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Sequatchie County's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Meigs County, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
