Football Recap: Astronaut Makes It Three in a Row on the Road + How To Watch

Astronaut's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Bayside Bears by a score of 14-6. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the War Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Brennan Waldrop threw for 33 yards on three of seven attempts. On the ground, Jaquan Hagans rushed for 36 yards.

Astronaut pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.0 points on average over those games. As for Bayside, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Astronaut will face off against Sebastian River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bayside, they will venture away from home to face off against Space Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vipers' defense has only allowed 10.3 points per game this season, so the Bears' offense will have their work cut out for them.
