Baseball Recap: Biggsville West Central's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Biggsville West Central ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top against the Bushnell-Prairie City-Avon Spartans by a score of 11-10 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The win was some much needed relief for the Heat as it spelled an end to their 13-game losing streak.

Aiden Todd made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over 4.2 innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Hayden Eisnnicher, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits he has posted over his last ten games. Another player making a difference was Jeremy Ford, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Biggsville West Central's victory bumped their record up to 3-15.
