Softball Recap: Tenafly Comes Up Short

After flying high against Kennedy last Monday, Tenafly came back down to earth. The Tigers lost 24-1 to the Cliffside Park Raiders on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

Tenafly saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Yuri Song, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Tenafly's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Cliffside Park, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Tenafly Tigers take on Pascack Valley Panthers at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Cliffside Park, they will host Dumont at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Raiders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
