Volleyball Game Preview: Pocono Mountain West Panthers vs. Holy Redeemer Royals

The Pocono Mountain West Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Holy Redeemer Royals at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Pocono Mountain West earned a 3-1 victory over Bethlehem Catholic. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Pocono Mountain West walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-9, 19-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Holy Redeemer, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on New Covenant Christian with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Holy Redeemer took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-13, 25-12.

Holy Redeemer has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Pocono Mountain West, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-6.
