Attleboro came tearing into Friday's match with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the King Philip Regional Warriors by a score of 3-1. The Bombardiers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Attleboro had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-21, 25-13, 25-23.

Sage Young was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 14 digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

They weren't the only good servers: Attleboro was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 15 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

When it comes to explaining why King Philip Regional lost, don't look at Cece Mullen. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs and two aces. Mullen has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

Attleboro's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for King Philip Regional, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.
