Salinas's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Palma on Thursday. The Cowboys took down the Aptos Mariners 49-35. The Cowboys' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading Salinas to victory were Isaak Hernandez and Michael Andrade. Hernandez rushed for 125 yards and one score on only 15 carries, while Andrade threw for 145 yards and three TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes.

Salinas pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to yards per carry: they averaged an imposing 6.6 yards per carry in those games compared to only 2.6 in the others. As for Aptos, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
