Baseball Game Preview: Twin Cedars Sabers vs. Cardinal Comets

Twin Cedars is 0-6 against Cardinal since June of 2017 but things could change on Wednesday. The Sabers will look to defend their home field against the Comets at 5:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, Twin Cedars came up short against Moravia and fell 9-4.

Meanwhile, Cardinal entered their tilt with Centerville on Monday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Big Reds/Redettes. The result was nothing new for the Comets, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

Cardinal's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Twin Cedars, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-6.
