Baseball Recap: Righetti Takes a Loss

Righetti was the 4-3 winner over Morro Bay when they last played one another on Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates on Friday.

Zander Andersen made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-2.

Righetti's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Morro Bay, they pushed their record up to 13-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Righetti will challenge Dos Pueblos at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Morro Bay, they will square off against Lompoc at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pirates are facing the Braves at the right time seeing as the Braves are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
