Baseball Recap: Sandy Valley Comes Up Short

Sandy Valley fell victim to Indian Springs and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Thunderbirds, falling 15-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sidewinders of the 18-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Sandy Valley and nudges their season record down to 5-3. As for Indian Springs, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

While Sandy Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
