Charlotte Catholic had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their defense stepped up to hand the A.C. Reynolds Rockets a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Charlotte Catholic, who have now won 12 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit A.C. Reynolds with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rex Bumgarner, Rogan Crenshaw, and Braden Mathis.

The win was the fourth in a row for Charlotte Catholic, bringing their record up to 21-4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matches. As for A.C. Reynolds, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 22-4.
