Softball Recap: Duncanville Has No Trouble Against Lancaster

While Duncanville put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Lancaster. The Panthers and Pantherettes put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 11-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers and Pantherettes, who have now won 17 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Madison Lee and Julisel Favela did most of the damage at the plate: Lee went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double, while Favela scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits Lee has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Ily Martinez, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Duncanville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lancaster only posted a batting average of .000.

The win made it two in a row for Duncanville and bumps their season record up to 19-3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Lancaster, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 18-9.

Duncanville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-0 defeat against Horn on the 11th. As for Lancaster, they have also already played their next game, a 13-3 loss against Mesquite on the 11th.
