The Rancho Cotate Cougars will head out on the road to square off against the Windsor Jaguars at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rancho Cotate is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

Rancho Cotate came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-1 to Cardinal Newman. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost nine in a row.

Rancho Cotate saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Izabella Harumi, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 21 runs the game before, Windsor was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cardinal Newman. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Jaguars were not able to get on the board.

Windsor's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Rancho Cotate, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Rancho Cotate skirted past Windsor 12-10 when the teams last played on April 14th. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
