Football Recap: Marble Falls Takes a Loss

Marble Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Brownwood Lions 41-7. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 711th, while the Lions are ranked 196th).

Despite the loss, Marble Falls still got an impressive performance from Kaden Langbein, who picked up 95 receiving yards and one score. Langbein was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 56 yards.

Marble Falls' loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Brownwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Marble Falls does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brownwood, they will take on Big Spring at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
