Football Recap: Mabton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mabton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 35-16 bruising from the Touchet Redhawks. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Redhawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Mabton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Touchet, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mabton will welcome Liberty Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Patriots have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games. As for Touchet, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Non Varsity Opponent at 2:00 p.m. on October 6.
