Baseball Recap: DeKalb County Takes a Loss

DeKalb County lost against Upperman last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tigers came up short against the Bees, falling 9-3. The Tigers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

DeKalb County's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Upperman, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DeKalb County will take on Franklin County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers are facing the Rebels at the right time seeing as the Rebels are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Upperman, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Watertown at 6:00 p.m. The Bees are on a ten-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), the Purple Tigers a nine-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
