Volleyball Game Preview: Eastbrook Panthers vs. Alexandria-Monroe Tigers

The Eastbrook Panthers will square off against the Alexandria-Monroe Tigers at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eastbrook will be strutting in after a victory while Alexandria-Monroe will be coming in after a defeat.

Eastbrook will bounce into Thursday's matchup after beating Madison-Grant, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Panthers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Argylls on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Alexandria-Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Whiteland.

Alexandria-Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Eastbrook, the victory got them back to even at 14-14.

Eastbrook was able to grind out a solid win over Alexandria-Monroe in their previous meeting two weeks ago, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
