Baseball Game Preview: Waupun Warriors vs. Waupaca Comets

The Waupun Warriors will take on the Waupaca Comets on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Waupun comes in on seven and Waupaca on five.

Waupun is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Winneconne a 5-0 shutout. Give the Warriors' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

The team relied heavily on Logan Prall, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2025.

Meanwhile, Waupaca won against Chilton on Tuesday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Comets beat North Fond du Lac by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 4-3.

Waupaca's win bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Waupun, their victory bumped their record up to 22-5.
