Gilmer lost against Pine Tree back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Gilmer Buckeyes took a hard 48-32 fall against the Pine Tree Pirates. The Buckeyes' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Gilmer's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-12. As for Pine Tree, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-11.

Gilmer has already played their next game (against Henderson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pine Tree will square off against Spring Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
