Pocono Mountain West proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Pocono Mountain East Cardinals 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted against the Cardinals since October 10, 2019.

While Pocono Mountain West might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Pocono Mountain East scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 23-25, 23-25, 19-17.

Emma Covino paced Pocono Mountain West's offense, picking up nine kills. Covino got some help from Mya Olizarowicz and her 26 assists. Finally, Emma Campusano kept Pocono Mountain West's defense grounded, leading the team with seven blocks.

Pocono Mountain West's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Pocono Mountain East, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7-1.

As of now, neither Pocono Mountain West nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
