Ashland and Norwalk are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2017, but likely not for long. The Arrows will head out on the road to face off against the Truckers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Ashland will be strutting in after a win while Norwalk will be coming in after a loss.

On Wednesday, Ashland sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over Madison Comprehensive. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Arrows have posted against the Rams since March 28, 2018.

Meanwhile, Norwalk has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging four runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They lost 12-2 to Columbian. The Truckers just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Norwalk's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Ashland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-9.

Everything went Ashland's way against Norwalk when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Ashland made off with an 11-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Arrows since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
