Softball Recap: Sandy Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Sandy had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Clackamas Cavaliers as they made off with an 8-2 victory. Considering the Pioneers have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Sandy now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Clackamas, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sandy is set to take on their familiar foe Reynolds at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Clackamas will face off against rival Nelson at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
