Liberty Christian Academy lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Lejeune, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's game. Liberty Christian Academy blew past Lejeune 8-2 on Thursday.

Layla Titus and Lily Lanier did most of the damage at the plate: Titus scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-3, while Lanier scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Hollyn Thigpen was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Arendell Parrott Academy fell victim to Halifax Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to the Vikings. The Patriots just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row dating back to last season.

The victory got Liberty Christian Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Arendell Parrott Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
