West Brook waltzed into their game on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They wrapped up 2024 with a 60-43 win over the Eastern Ramblers. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Bruins' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 189th in Texas, while the Ramblers are ranked second in District of Columbia).

West Brook has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points per game. As for Eastern, they moved to 9-4 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.
