Softball Recap: Firebaugh Wins Going Away Against Fremont

Firebaugh's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They blew past the Fremont Pathfinders 30-17. That looming 30-17 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Falcons yet this season.

Aryana Villegas was a standout: she scored four runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Valeria Valdivia, who went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs.

The win got Firebaugh back to even at 3-3. As for Fremont, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Firebaugh will head out on the road to challenge Lynwood at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fremont, they will be playing at home against Jefferson at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
